Why an Engineer?

Having an engineer on your project saves you time and money. The engineer will make sure you don’t end up with too much heat, or too much cooling – making your project less expensive and your building more comfortable while saving money on future utilities as well!

Guidelines

Good Habets Inc will quote quickly on your project. The guidelines below are guidelines only since every project is so different.

For straightforward boiler, heat pump or furnace replacement, a guideline would be $1,200 for a sizing review, rebate application and specification for a contractor. Add $1,000 to tender the job to contractors and to pick the best quote for installation.

To install a new system and review versus building codes, sizing, ventilation requirements, heating and cooling methods – budget $1,500 as a base and another $1,000 per piece of equipment to be put in place.

If you have an interesting problem that you don’t know how to fix, this is for you. One room too hot, one room too cold, and one room has no ventilation? We’ll figure it out. This starts with a quick review at $500, which will give you an idea of the options available and the costs associated with completing the project.
